Sommer Contemporary Art congratulates Eran Nave for the opening of his solo exhibition Hunchback Clock, at the Tel-Aviv Museum Of Art.
The exhibition Hunchback Clock is constructed as a deserted office set, immersed in a tribal-ritualistic mood. It is composed of improvised furniture sets from which sculptures emerge, carrying the furniture on to a unified sculptural landscape, like “islands” of elusive events, the subconscious of the office desk. The furniture-sculptures are positioned on a wall-to-wall carpet and illuminated with a bright fluorescent light: this is an institutional façade for hosting ghosts and spirits that constitute the terror realms of the human experience.
