Naama Arad / Hot Stuff
Sep 19 – Nov 29, 2025
The Hot Stuff exhibition space is inspired by urban interiors with an anachronistic character, where intimate moments of interaction emerges from within the public sphere: the back office of a corner shop, the improvised kitchen of a food stand, the store window designed in a burst of unconscious talent, and the coffee table in a waiting room. It’s a melting pot of objects and images that disregard cultural differences, juggling freely between the individual and the collective, the secular and the sacred. Arad’s works construct a mechanism of desire for the union itself, for the urge to couple up and fit in with the environment. Hot Stuff is a shell of a place emptied of specific meaning and having lost its relation to purpose. It is an autonomous space of potential compositions, giving form to the pressing question of our time: Where do we stand?
